Prior to treatment, the face is numbed with a local anaesthetic cream or injection for minimum discomfort. The fillers are then injected underneath the skin’s surface using a very fine needle to give natural volume and smooth wrinkles.
The treatment takes approx. 45 minutes and many patients go back to work and their day-to-day activities straight away. The treated area should be left alone for 48 hours to let it settle and it is advisable to avoid facials and strong sunlight for 2-3 days.

You will immediately see results, with the full effects visible once any swelling and bruising has subsided.
Although it varies from patient to patient, the results usually last 6-9 months and fade gradually.
The treatment can be repeated every 6 months.
There may be slight bleeding, mild bruising or redness where the needle was inserted which will disappear in a few days. In very rare cases an allergic reaction may occur, including itching, puffiness and red or bumpy skin. Ask your practitioner for advice if any of these are a concern.
The fillers are biodegradable and are safely broken down and removed by your body’s natural processes.
If you do not continue treatments, your lines and wrinkles will gradually revert to how they looked before the dermal filler (restylane) treatment.
